The Northwestern football program has been making progress in recent years, and their facilities are a direct reflection of the on-field improvement under head coach Pat Fitzgerald. This month, the Wildcats unveiled a beautiful new beachfront facility, the Ryan Fieldhouse, which features a state of the art indoor field and an unrivaled view of the shore of Lake Michigan.
“Chicago’s Big Ten team,” as Fitzgerald wants the team to be known, happily unveiled photos of the upgraded facility which you can see in the gallery above.
But it’s more than just a beachfront facility with a nice view, the entire fieldhouse will leave you impressed.

Last season, the Wildcats finished with an impressive 10-3 record (7-2 in Big Ten play), ending the season with a victory over Kentucky in the Music City Bowl. It was the third straight bowl appearance for Northwestern and their second consecutive postseason win.
Northwestern kicks off its 2018 campaign on the road at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana to take on Big Ten foe Purdue, before returning home to Ryan Field in Evanston for a meeting with Duke.
