NFL Draft 2018: Stoneman Douglas Football Players To Announce Dolphins Picks

When the Miami Dolphins are on the clock in the 2018 NFL Draft, members of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School football team will be involved with the selections. According to the Sun Sentinel’s Wes Dusenbury, members of the Stoneman Douglas football team and the family of assistant coach Aaron Feis will be announcing the Dolphins’ Day 3 draft selections.
Feis was one of 17 people killed in the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Feis was reportedly shot and killed when he was shielding students from gunfire and allowing them to escape danger.

The family of Parkland shooting victim and Eagles assistant coach Aaron Feis, along with 18 graduating seniors on the Douglas football team, will announce the Dolphins’ draft picks during Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, April 28. The group will read the picks from the team’s training facility in Davie.

The Dolphins have also donated $100,000 to the Parkland community, while the coaching staff donated an additional $17,500 to Feis’ family.
The 2018 NFL Draft takes place from April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
