The final Mel Kiper mock draft of 2018 has been released. Just hours ahead of the beginning of Round 1 on Thursday night, the ESPN NFL Draft guru tweeted out his final predictions for the first 32 picks and made a big change at the top. After slating Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 1 overall pick for months, Kiper decided to go with a different signal-caller at the top.
Kiper’s pick reflects the recent shift in rumors as people believe Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield will be the top selection.
Then, the draft really begins when the New York Giants are on the clock at No. 2.
There is a belief that the Giants could choose either Penn State running back Saquon Barkley, USC quarterback Sam Darnold or NC State defensive end Bradley Chubb.
Who does Kiper believe your favorite team will select?

1. Cleveland Browns: Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma
You heard it from ESPN’s Adam Schefter this morning. Baker to Cleveland is all the talk. Josh Allen isn’t helped by the offensive tweets that surfaced overnight. Mayfield could be ready to compete with Tyrod Taylor immediately.
2. New York Giants: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
We can’t ignore the Barkley buzz. The Giants love him.
