The 2018 NFL Draft is in the books, meaning hundreds of college football players have achieved their goal of making it to the NFL. Unfortunately, a number of players did not hear their names called and now face an uphill battle of earning their spot in the league as an undrafted free agent.
This year, a record 106 underclassmen decided to forgo their final years of college eligibility, but unfortunately, only 69 players heard were selected. That means 37 of the underclassmen, or 35 percent of the early entries, went undrafted.
Among the undrafted underclassmen were Indiana wide receiver Simmie Cobbs Jr., Auburn running back Kamryn Pettway, Notre Dame running back Josh Adams, Florida State defensive back Tarvarus McFadden, Marshall quarterback Chase Litton, and Pitt wide receiver Quadree Henderson.
