The Road to Omaha has begun, with the 2018 NCAA Baseball Championship Committee announcing the 64-team field for the upcoming NCAA baseball tournament on Monday, May 28. Out of the 64 teams to reach the postseason, 31 were automatic qualifiers.
The teams are split into 16 regional sites across the nation with those games beginning on June 1. Each regional winner will advance to the super regionals the following week where they will host games on campus, with those winners advancing to the College World Series at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska from June 16-26/27.
