Michigan Basketball: John Beilein To The Pistons?

There is a strong chance that John Beilein, head coach of the Michigan basketball program, could be on his way to the NBA. On Wednesday morning, it was reported that the head coach was considered one of the top candidates to take over the Detroit Pistons. He was reportedly interviewed for the gig and but is expected to compete with former Toronto Raptors leading man Dwayne Casey.
Rod Beard of The Detroit News reported that Casey is the leader to get the job.

San Antonio Spurs assistant Ime Udoka is also in the running, according to reports.
Beilein currently holds a 724–419 overall record as a head coach, and a 24-12 record in the NCAA Tournament.
