LiAngelo Ball may not have been selected by an NBA team in the 2018 draft and he may have withdrawn from UCLA before his professional career had a chance to begin, but that didn’t stop him from being a champion. Sure, it may be in his father’s Junior Basketball Association, but ‘Gelo did exactly what he was supposed to do against lesser competition and padded the stat sheet.
As a result, the middle Ball brother was named the 2018 JBA MVP as the Los Angeles Ballers — which also feature his younger brother, LaMelo Ball — won the inaugural JBA championship with a 132-121 win over Seattle.
LiAngelo dropped 58 points in the L.A. Ballers’ championship victory to earn the MVP award.

Younger brother LaMelo put up a strong stat line of his own, putting up 34 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists.
For their efforts, every player on the Los Angeles Ballers roster — LiAngelo, LaMelo, Greg Floyd, Niles Malone, Marquis Reed, Brandon Philips, Keshaun Mack, and Melvin Davis — was awarded a brand new Cadillac.

Now that the JBA season is in the books, there is no word on what the next step is for LiAngelo as he continues to pursue his NBA dream.
