A member of the Troy football program received the surprise of a lifetime over the weekend. Cameron Kaye, a sophomore long snapper for the Trojans, learned that he was finally set to be on scholarship in a special presentation from his mother.
Troy University recorded the announcement for everyone to see, giving us another scholarship video that we all love.
“First off, I want to give all the glory to God. I am so blessed to have this be a part of his plan for me,” he wrote in a statement on Twitter. “Second, I want to thank my family and everyone who has supported me and never given up hope. And finally, I want to thank Coach Brown and the entire coaching staff for giving me this opportunity to prove myself and compete at the highest level of college football.”

Kaye started every game a season ago and earned a 3.0 grade point average as an exercise science major.
He then put ink to paper to make his scholarship official.
