The USC football program has announced its starting quarterback. Late Sunday night, Trojans head coach Clay Helton announced that it will be true freshman JT Daniels who lines up under center for the team’s Week 1 meeting with UNLV on Saturday, Sept. 1.

Eli Clayton, who goes by the gamer tag “Trueboy,” has been identified as one of the two deceased victims in the mass shooting which took place during a Madden NFL 19 tournament in Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday, Aug. 26. The shooting was carried out by 24-year-old David Katz, who died on the scene of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Madden NFL gamer “SpotMePlzzz,” whose real name is Taylor Robertson, has been identified as the second of the deceased victims from the mass shooting at a video game tournament in Jacksonville Landing on Sunday, Aug. 26. Robertson leaves behind a wife and child.
