College Sports News

Georgia State football coach Shawn Elliott is currently recovering from an injury. Elliott, whose Panthers are currently 1-1 on the season, told reporters on Wednesday, Sept. 12 that he is recovering from a torn bicep that he suffered during Georgia State’s Week 2 meeting against the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

The Tennessee Vols football program is making a classy gesture to those who are in the path of Hurricane Florence. On Wednesday, Sept. 12, Director of Athletics Phillip Fulmer announced that any family displaced by Hurricane Florence due to an eviction or safety precautions can attend Saturday’s game against UTEP free of charge.
