The College GameDay guest picker for Week 3 of the 2018 college football season has been announced. After country music star Luke Bryan held the honor on opening weekend and Owen Gray, a Make-A-Wish recipient was the guest picker in Week 2, we now know that a WWE Superstar will be gracing the ESPN set when the festivities kick off on the TCU campus on Saturday.
The guest picker for Week 3’s contest between the Ohio State Buckeyes and TCU Horned Frogs will be none other than WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who defends his title against Braun Strownman at Hell in Cell on Sunday night, which will take place at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.
Despite GameDay being on the TCU campus in Fort Worth, the game is set to take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
TCU will enter the game at 2-0 after steamrolling Southern University in the season-opener, 55-7, and blowing out SMU in Week 2, 42-12. The Buckeyes, meanwhile, have had no trouble in the first two weeks of the season with big wins over Oregon State (77-31) and Rutgers (52-3).

It will mark the seventh appearance on the flagship college football pregame show for the Horned Frogs and the second time that they have hosted. If TCU can pull off an upset of the Buckeyes, they will maintain a perfect record when appearing on GameDay; currently 6-0. Ohio State, meanwhile, while be making its 41st College GameDay appearance — one short of Alabama’s record 42 appearances — with an overall record of 27-13 when appearing on the show. If Ohio State picks up a win, they will hold the most victories for schools appearing on College GameDay in the show’s history.
Kickoff between the two programs is set for 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
