The Florida football team will be breaking out some special uniforms for the Gators’ upcoming “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” clash with the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, Oct. 27 at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.
Ahead of the SEC rivalry game, the Gators took to social media to show off their “Icy White” helmets that will be worn for the game.
The white helmet features the traditional Gators script decal on both sides with the Florida “F” logo on the front bumper. It’s a minor but welcomed alternate look for what is one of the Gators’ biggest outings of the 2018 season.

Florida and Georgia have met a total of 95 or 96 times throughout the rivalry series dating back to the early 1900’s, depending on who you ask. The Gators claim 95 meetings, while Georgia says there have been 96 meetings. Florida claims an overall 50-43-2 series lead for the Bulldogs, while Georgia’s records show one additional win at 51-43-3. The biggest margin of victory in the series is a 75-0 win for UGA in 1942.
In the most recent meeting between the two teams, Georgia — which was then ranked No. 3 in the nation — earned a whopping 42-7 victory to snap a three-game losing streak against the Gators.
Kickoff between the No. 9 Gators and No. 7 Bulldogs is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
