The FCS wrapped up an exciting Week 9 of the 2018 college football season which means it’s time for the updated rankings. On Monday, October 29, the American Football Coaches Association unveiled the updated AFCA FCS Coaches’ Poll ahead of Week 10.
This season, for the first time ever, the AFCA is in charge of the administration of the FCS. It had previously been run by the Southern Conference. The AFCA also administrates the Division II and Division III Top 25 polls.
North Dakota State is the unanimous No. 1 team in the nation for the seventh time during the 2018 season, with the remainder of the top five — Kennesaw State, James Madison, Eastern Washington, and Weber State — remained the same.
Week 10 will feature only one Top 25 matchup as Ivy League rivals No. 14 Princeton and No. 20t Dartmouth will battle for league supremacy in Princeton, New Jersey.
