E-Sports Meets Walmart & Out Comes A New Gaming PC Line

One of the world’s biggest E-sports venue and production company, E-sports Arena, has announced a partnership with Walmart to bring its products to the next level. One thing that came out of this is a new line of gaming computers called “OverPowered” that are exclusive to E-sports Arena and Walmart.


What’s Happening?


E-Sports Arena and Walmart’s partnership is set to build five separate locations that will be an extension to the existing arena. All of the new arenas will also be equipped with their newest gaming PC, OverPowered. Currently, E-Sports Arena has venues in California and Nevada. The new venue addition will serve to host more games in hopes of further popularizing E-Sports to the public. Also, this partnership will generate more exposure to its new product through Walmart.


“We couldn’t think of a better way to provide a quality gaming experience to Walmart shoppers. These Esports Arenas in three Walmart stores, with two additional locations coming, and the launch of OVERPOWERED will bring unique new experiences to the millions of gamers that shop at Walmart.” VP of Entertainment at Walmart, Mario Pacini said to Esports Insider.
Starting November 3 till the 4, customers will be able to see E-Sports Arena’s launch in 5 Walmart locations: Roseville, CA, Spokane Valley, WA, Colorado Springs, CO and two more stores set to be announced shortly.


What Is OverPowered Like?


OverPowered is the new gaming computers that were rolled out by E-Sports Arena and Walmart.
These gaming computers are currently set to three designs as of now: One desktop and two laptops.

1. OP Gaming Desktop DTW2

This new desktop has an unlocked Intel i7 8700, a GeForce GTX 1080, 512 GB SSD, 32GB of RAM, and a 2TB HDD for any storage needs. As of now, the design is set to be all glass front and side panels with four case fans that come with a blue glow. This computer runs on Windows 10.

2. OP Gaming Laptop 15″

This laptop is home to a 144Hz display, Intel i5 8300H, 2GB GeForce GTX 1050, 8GB of RAM, 1TB HDD, and a 128GB SSD. This computer runs on Windows 10.

3. OP Gaming Laptop 17″

The 17″ OP laptop has the same 144Hz display as the 15″ version but with its hardware more enhanced. It currently contains an Intel i7 8750H, a GTX 1060, a 2TB HDD, 32GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. This computer runs on Windows 10.
