Bedlam delivered once again with the No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners and rival Oklahoma State Cowboys going down to the wire at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday, November 10. The Sooners were able to edge out the Cowboys, scoring a 48-47 victory to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
While the action on the field delivered for college football fans, there was one moment early on that may have stolen the show after going viral.
With the Sooners leading Oklahoma State 14-7 in the first quarter, the Schooner Wagon went out on the field for a spin and it turned out to be the ride of a lifetime for one Oklahoma cheerleader. The cheerleader was waving an OU flag out of the back of the wagon when he flopped out onto the field. One of his teammates was not going to let the cheerleader tumble away and potentially get trampled, so he held onto his feet until the very end.
Once it was all over, the cheerleader who took the spill was all smiles and had to know that he was soon going to making the rounds on social media.
Check out the hilarious moment below.
