The popular Sailor Bear was introduced in the 1950s which was created by former Disney employee Arthur Evans. The logo, while seldom used outside of the regional scene, was used until the “Growling Bear” — which is a realistic head of a grizzly bear — was introduced.
Now, for the first time in the modern era, “Sailor Bear” is back.
Kickoff between TCU and Baylor is set for 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
