The 2018 College Football Awards were announced over the weekend for some of the most prestigious awards in the nation. Among the awards that were announced were the Heisman Trophy, Walter Camp Award, Davey O’Brien Award for best quarterback, AP Player of the Year, Nagurski Trophy for best defensive player, Doak Walker Award for best running back, Biletnikoff Award for best receiver, and much more.
Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray and Alabama signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa won the top honors, with Murray bringing home the Heisman Trophy and Tagovailoa being honored as the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year.
On the defensive side of the ball, it was Kentucky Wildcats star linebacker Josh Allen who picked up both the Bednarik Award and Nagurski Trophy.
