College Football Rankings: ESPN Drops Top 25 After Bowl Games

College football bowl season is in the books. While we wait for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Clemson Tigers, however, ESPN is giving us a look back at the season with their own Top 25 following the conclusion of the bowl games.
As you might expect, Alabama tops the rankings while the Clemson Tigers sit at No. 2. Georgia and Ohio State, who many believe should have been in the College Football Playoff, round out the top four.
Oklahoma checks in at No. 5, while the Notre Dame Fighting Irish dropped down to the No. 7 spot.
The bowl season will run through Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, when the national championship takes place. The College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T takes place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Kickoff between Alabama and Clemson is set for 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
