Kyler Murray Declares For 2019 NFL Draft

Kyler Murray is turning pro. On Monday, January 14, the Oklahoma football star and reigning Heisman Trophy winner officially announced he would forego his final year of eligibility to enter the 2019 NFL Draft. It was the final day for underclassmen to announce their draft intentions.
Murray announced his decision with a short, simple statement on Twitter.
“I have declared for the NFL Draft,” he wrote.

During his Heisman campaign, Murray threw for 4,361 yards, 42 touchdowns and just 7 interceptions. Proving he is a dual threat, the junior added 1,001 yards on the ground with an additional 12 touchdowns.
The 2019 NFL Draft will take place between April 25 and April 27 in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville earned the honor of hosting the 84th annual player selection over cities Denver, Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Cleveland/Canton.
