College Sports News
Not much has changed in the top 5, but a little below them is where it gets increasingly interesting. Heavily-favored No. 6 Michigan State was predestined to walk over Purdue with little to no difficulty at home, but that didn’t come into fruition resulting in a shocking home court loss to the Boilermakers. Auburn’s not-so-great 2018-19 campaign just got worse with a disappointingly close loss to No. 22 Mississippi State in Starkville and their 16th best ranking will dip even further. During Saturday’s Big 12-SEC Challenge, Bill Self’s No. 9 Jayhawks look to be suffering from a rotational issue of big men as the Cats were just mauling them inside the paint while Dedric Lawson could only do so much.
