NBA All-Star Game 2019: Date, Time & Location

The stars of the NBA are about to meet up. Team Lebron won the game last year with team captain Lebron James taking home the All-Star Game MVP. The four-time NBA MVP is a team captain again this season, but will be going against Team Giannis instead of Team Steph. The “Greek Freak” had an international flavor with his draft, selecting Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic, Nikola Vucevic and special addition Dirk Nowitzki.

Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Kawhi Leonard will start alongside James in the All-Star Game, while Stephen Curry, Paul George, Kemba Walker and Embiid join Giannis Antentokoumpo. The new draft format was first implemented in 2018 to give the game a little more flavor. While the Eastern and Western Conference both send 12 players to the All-Star Game, the two leading vote-getters become the team captains and draft all the other players.

The All-Star Game is the only place where Curry and George will play on the same team, while Harden and Durant are able to play on the same team again. The game is always exciting, full of high flying dunks and deep three-pointers. Are you excited for the 2019 NBA All-Star Game?
