UNC-Duke Ticket Prices Are Rivaling The Super Bowl

North Carolina and Duke are two of the biggest blue bloods in college basketball. Names like Christian Laettner, Michael Jordan, Grant Hill and James Worthy are some of the names that have played in this historic rivalry. Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish, Cameron Johnson, Luke Maye and Coby White are all looking to write another chapter in the illustrious rivalry.

Both teams enter the game in the top 10 with Duke holding the top spot in the AP poll and North Carolina being ranked No. 8. The game is slated to be one of the biggest matchups of the year and has the ticket prices to match the excitement.

According to SeatGeek, the cheapest ticket prices for the game is $2,800 thousand, which is similar to what Super Bowl ticket prices were going for this year. The most expensive ticket prices are $9,200 thousand as people are trying to watch one of the best rivalries in sports.

The game is also Williamson’s highly anticipated debut in the rivalry as he has been the nation’s best player so far this season.

The freshman sensation from Spartanburg, South Carolina has been one of the most exciting players to enter college basketball with his vicious blocks and high flying dunks. Williamson is not the only high profile Duke freshman making his debut in the rivalry as Barrett is also facing North Carolina for the first time.

The Canadian freshman is a future top-three in the 2019 NBA Draft and is one of the most skilled scorers in college basketball. Barrett’s matchup with Johnson will be fun to watch as the redshirt senior is one of the better two-way players in college basketball.

The game is highly anticipated that former president Barack Obama will potentially be attending the game in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Duke-North Carolina is always one of the games and this year’s edition will be no different. When tickets prices for a regular season college basketball game are in the same price range as the Super Bowl, the game is a big deal.

Tip-off between the two teams is set for 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
