Wideouts D.K. Metcalf and AJ Brown were not the only exceptional athletes from the stacked Ole Miss draft class in the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. Zedrick Woods, the standout Rebels defensive back, just ran the fastest 40-yard dash, not just for his position group, but for the entire combine in Indianapolis.
Officially clocking in at 4.29 seconds, Zedrick Woods has earned the title of the fastest man in the 2019 NFL Draft class.

The former Ohio State Commit-turned-Auburn Tiger’s time was initially clocked at 4.31, which, for the while, matched the time of former Ohio State receiver Parris Campbell (who ran a 4.32 unofficially).

On Saturday, D.K. Metcalf stunned scouts and onlookers with blazing speed at a frame of 6-foot-3 and 228 pounds and a body fat percentage of 1.6, running an insane time of 4.33. Brown followed, running a slightly slower 4.50. But at the end of the day, it is Woods who has the most bragging rights among the Ole Miss alumni.
The 2019 NFL Draft will take place between April 25 and April 27 in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville earned the honor of hosting the 84th annual player selection over cities Denver, Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Cleveland/Canton.
