The 2019 NCAA Tournament is in full swing with the opening weekend in the books. That means the competition is set to really ramp up with the Sweet 16 set to tip-off on Thursday, March 28 and continues through Friday, March 29.
All four No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 seeds advanced to the Sweet 16 with just one double-digit seed — No. 12 Oregon — left to give us a true Cinderella run.
In the Eastern Region — which is held in Washington, D.C. — No. 1 Duke, No. 2 Michigan State, No. 3 LSU, and No. 4 Virginia Tech remain. No. 1 Virginia takes on No. 12 Oregon while No. 2 Tennessee and No. 3 Purdue go head-to-head in the South Region in Lousiville.
The Midwest Region in Kansas City features No. 1 North Carolina vs. No. 5 Auburn and No. 2 Kentucky vs. No. 3 Houston, while the Western Region in Anaheim wraps up the Sweet 16 with No. 1 Gonzaga, No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 Texas Tech, and No. 4 Florida State.
