College Sports News

Duke entered the 2019 NCAA Tournament as the clear favorite to cut down the nets in Minneapolis with star freshmen Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett. The Blue Devils lost to Michigan State in the Elite Eight 68-66 as they were unable to get the right shot late in the game. Even with the loss, Williamson and Barrett were still named first-team Associated Press (AP) All-Americans.

Zion Williamson just finished one of the most exciting freshman seasons in the history of college basketball. The South Carolina native averaged 22.6 points per game on 68 percent shooting, wowing fans and NBA scouts alike with his explosiveness and speed on the court. His athletic accomplishments at Duke not only impressed NBA scouts, but also Team USA.

Entertainment News

Fyre Festival was an epic disaster. The failed music festival which left hundreds of overly rich kids stranded on an island in less than stellar condition led to a six-year prison sentence for founder Billy McFarland. But it was the cast of social media influencers, including Kendall Jenner, (and Ja Rule) who really helped promote the fantasy concept.

Eric Holder, aka Shitty Cuz, was identified as the murder suspect in the shooting of rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was gunned down in broad daylight in front of his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31. Holder was a known gang member associated with the Rollin 60’s Neighborhood Crips, the same gang Nipsey had previously publicly revealed he was a part of.
