College News

The Oakland Raiders will be the busiest team on the first day of the NFL Draft. They have three first round picks because of the Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper trades. One position that the Raiders will not address in the first round is a quarterback, according to Sports Illustrated.

Russell Wilson’s contract dispute with the Seattle Seahawks took over the late free agency period. His unhappiness with his current situation made people believe that he was headed elsewhere. Wilson will be staying in Seattle after he was given a four year, $140 million contract extension, according to Sports Illustrated.

Entertainment News

UFC 236 took place on Saturday, April 13 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia with two titles on the line. In the main event, Dustin Poirier became the interim lightweight champion by knocking off current featherweight titleholder Max Holloway in a five-round war.

Gianny Sosa-Hernandez, an 18-year-old student at Miami Southridge Senior High School, was arrested on Monday, April 15 at a Miami-Dade County mall for damaging a display and wrestling a fake alligator. Sosa-Hernandez was charged with criminal mischief, according to ABC News.
