The Ohio State Buckeyes are losing a lot of player’s from last year’s team to the upcoming NFL Draft, meaning that the 2016 roster will feature a great number of underclassmen in key roles.
Strength coach Mickey Marotti has noticed this, and Marcus Hartman of Fox Sports and Eric Seger of Eleven Warriors posted Marotti’s thoughts on the matter to Twitter.
How young is Ohio State? 47 players this winter hadn't gone through Mickey Marotti's may drills

Ohio State strength coach Mickey Marotti said he had 47 players this winter who had never done mat drills.
That's more than half the team.

Needless to say, Ohio State is rolling dice next season. Star running back Ezekiel Elliott is gone, as is pass-rusher Joey Bosa. Top receiver Michael Thomas and safety Tyvis Powell have also moved on. Urban Meyer is a good enough coach and quarterback J.T. Barrett is a strong enough leader that Ohio State should still make some noise in the Big Ten, but Buckeyes fans shouldn’t be surprised if their team stumbles out of the starting gate due to youth.
