Texas Longhorns safety Adrian Colbert has announced that he will transfer to another school to continue his football career after graduating in the spring. Colbert’s announcement came via his Twitter.

A former three-star recruit from northern Texas, Colbert had 26 tackles in three years with the Longhorns and saw most of his action on special teams. On top of Texas, he also weighed offers from TCU, Baylor and Texas A&M.
Colbert will now transfer to a program where, hopefully, he will receive more significant playing time and be able to play on a team that is in a better position to contend as the Longhorns are not quite there yet. The good news is that, as a graduate transfer, he will be immediately eligible to play wherever he ends up.
Colbert himself has yet to give any indication as to which football programs are on his radar, nor if any have been in contact with him, but stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates on his story!
