Mack Brown may no longer be the head coach of the Texas Longhorns, but he is not yet done making a difference in the football world. Recently, it was announced that Brown would lead the football feasible study committee at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
The school announced the news in a press release on Friday.
“I am thrilled and honored to have been selected to lead this committee,” Brown said.
“The opportunity to build a college football program from the ground up is unique, and I’m excited to be involved in the process. I know there are many passionate football fans in the Rio Grande Valley, and I can’t think of a better place to launch a college football program.”
He added:
Look forward to the exciting challenge ahead. Thank you Chris, and Pres Bailey for allowing me to help. Can't wait! https://t.co/hNTdOIqY4c
