Former NFL player reveals odd pre-draft questions

Fans of the game often wonder happens behind closed doors in the NFL. Well, former NFL defensive end Austen Lane is here to answer those questions. Previously, Lane had wrote columns about life as a fringe NFL player for MMQB, but Tuesday he took to Twitter.

In his tweets, he discussed some of the odd questions he was during the NFL Scouting Combine.

If Lane’s experience is common, the players heading to Indianapolis this week could be in for quite the unique experience.

Lane played college ball at Murray State and was then drafted by the Jaguars. Were he started 17 games. He has also spent time of the Lions and Bears roster.

Lane retired in 2014, but it is cool to see he is still active in discussing his NFL career with the fans.
