Will Fuller records fastest 40 among first group of receivers

The first group of wide receivers to take the field Saturday for on-field workouts at the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine featured two speedsters that were expected to put up impressive times in the 40-yard dash.

The two players, Will Fuller of Notre Dame and TCU’s Kolby Listenbee, did just that.

Fuller got the best of the competition, running an official time of 4.32.

Listenbee, who has a strong track history, recorded a 4.35. It is important to note, however, that Listenbee recorded the impressive time while still recovering from a hip injury.

Fuller and Listenbee were the only to receivers to break the 4.4 mark in the first group.

Rounding out the top three was Cal’s Trevor Davis.

We will have to see if Braxton Miller can beat any of those numbers when he takes the field with the second group of receivers later this afternoon.
