There is some very sad news to report in the sports world, as TNT reporter Craig Sager announced that his leukemia is no longer in remission. Sager shared the news in an interview for HBO’s Real Sports.
With the news of his leukemia returning, Sager said that his doctors have given him just three to six months to live.

“I’ve already had two stem cell transplants. Very rarely does somebody have a third,” Sager added. “So I have to maintain my strength, so I can go through this. I’m not going to be that 3–6 months. I‘m going to be that five years. I’m going to make medical history. … I’m fighting this thing to the end. I have too much to do.”
It’s some very tough news to listen digest, but Sager is staying strong.
Hopefully, Sager can keep his positive attitude and fight through this incredibly difficult time.
