It certainly looks like fans are going to have to wait to see the much-anticipated match-up rematch between Jon Jones and UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.
On Friday, it was announced that Cormier would have to pull out of their scheduled UFC 197 main event due to an injury.
Despite the injury putting a hold on the fight between the two rivals, Jones, who won their first meeting in early 2015, seems to be taking the high road and not kicking a man while he has down. UFC has yet to address the injury, but Jones took to Twitter to wish Cormier well on his recovery.
I don't wish injuries on anyone, I hope you have a healthy recovery Daniel. Enjoy that belt

This match had been a year of build as the two have been going back and forth on social media. Jon Jones had defeated Cormier last year, but was stripped of the title and suspended for his arrest in a felony hit-and-run case.
There is no word on if Jones will remain on the UFC 197 card or if the match is to be rescheduled. Stay tuned with Campus Sports for the latest UFC news.
