Who is ready to go bowling? While the 2016-17 college football season is still months away, the fine folks at ESPN ramped up the excitement by releasing the loaded schedule for this year’s 38-game bowl schedule. 13 of the bowl games will be owned and operated by ESPN Events.
The busy bowl season will kickoff on Saturday, Dec. 17, with a tripleheader on ESPN and a doubleheader on ABC.
It will all come to an end with the College Football Playoff National Championship game on Monday, Jan. 9. The national championship will air on ESPN, as will the national semifinals which will be held just over a week earlier on Dec. 31.
