Running back Leonard Fournette is one of the most recognizable players in the nation and one of the early favorites to win the 2016 Heisman Trophy. One fan that will almost certainly appreciate having an autograph from the Heisman Trophy contender is Kentucky Derby trainer and LSU alum Tom Amoss.
Amoss trains Mo Tom, a horse who is a 16-1 underdog at this weekend’s Kentucky Derby, and Fournette found out that he is a fellow Tiger. So, the running back sent Amoss a signed LSU media guide with a good luck message on it.
It is also fitting that the media guide is adorned by Fournette on the cover.

It is hard to believe that Mo Tom would be his insurmountable odds this weekend, but Amoss know exactly how Leonard Fournette runs. Maybe the horse will have that same running spirit and shock the world on Saturday.
