This weekend, the LSU Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks met on the diamond for a baseball game in Baton Rouge. During the bottom of the seventh inning, things got very interesting.
Out of nowhere, an overeager opossum ran onto the field, causing what may just be the first opossum delay in NCAA baseball history.

After the opossum delay, LSU was able to rally and earn the big win.
This led to the birth of “#rallypossum” on social media.

The moment even led to an opossum inspired graphic on the SEC Network.
The Arkansas-@LSUbaseball summed up in one hashtag: #RallyPossum!
