Baylor dismisses RB Devin Chafin

On Wednesday, the Baylor Bears announced running back Devin Chafin has been dismissed.

Chafin was initially suspended from the program after a March arrest where he allegedly brought marijuana back from a spring break trip to Colorado. Last month, Chafin was also mentioned in an ESPN Outside the Lines report for allegedly assaulting a woman on multiple occasions in 2014.

Now, as the program tries to rehab its image, Chafin is on the outs.

During his career at Baylor, Chafin totaled 1,261 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns. He added five catches for 43 yards and a touchdown. Last season as a junior, the running back appeared in ten games, recording 583 yards and nine touchdowns.
