The Denver Nuggets weren’t originally supposed to be picking at this point, but because they traded away Carmelo Anthony a few years ago, they ended up with this pick. They made the most of it by taking Kentucky guard Jamal Murray.

This is a huge get for the Nuggets as Murray should complete their backcourt with Emmanuel Mudiay. This is going to be a huge boost for the team over the next few years.
Jamal Murray averaged 20 points per game and shot 40 percent from beyond the three-point line. He also led the SEC with 244 field goals made on the year.
