ESPN announced a few changes to the Saturday college football broadcast teams for the 2016 season and beyond on Thursday. Their most notable change was adding former Alabama quarterback and current SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy to one of their teams.
The Worldwide Leader in Sports announced the move on Thursday with McElroy joining a team with Tom Luginbill and Dave Pasch. He has been working with ESPN’s SEC Network for the last two seasons and will continue to work with them during the week this year.
I'm thrilled to be joining two of the best in @DavePasch and @TomLuginbill this fall on ABC/ESPN. https://t.co/Yx7Ba2aXqv

The company also announced that Allison Williams will join a team of Brock Huard and Bob Wischusen as a sideline reporter this year. ESPN senior coordinating producer Lee Fitting spoke about both new additions to the teams this year.
“The quality and depth of our on-air lineup continues to be one of the strengths of our college football coverage,” Fitting said. “Dave and Bob will again be front and center on high impact games in key ESPN and ABC timeslots for us. We look forward to seeing Greg and Allison in their new roles.”
