Amanda Nunes sleeps with UFC bantamweight championship

On Saturday, Amanda Nunes made history when she became the first Brazilian woman to win a UFC championship after she upset Miesha Tate at UFC 200. Nunes also became the first openly gay UFC title holder.

Now, it seems she isn’t letting the belt out of her sight.

Nunes certainly deserved some sleep after her knockout effort at the event Saturday night. However, she wants to keep her title belt close to her and she posted a picture of her holding the title while she sleeps.

Nunes is a part of American Top Team and they have certainly won some pretty impressive hardware in the past. However, it is her bantamweight title that certainly takes the cake.

Amanda Nunes claims she hasn’t gotten better sleep than since she won the title over the weekend. I can’t disagree with her at all there.
