The Texas Longhorns certainly haven’t been the dominant team they once were since losing in the 2009 BCS National Championship Game. However, in his third year, head coach Charlie Strong looks to start this team back on the right path to being a powerhouse program.
Offensively, the Longhorns could have any one of three talented quarterbacks leading their team, including 2015 signee Shane Buechele. Their offensive line should provide a big push for their hulking running backs D’Onta Foreman and Chris Warren III.
Sophomore linebacker Malik Jefferson is easily the top player on this team and he will have to assume a leadership role much earlier than anyone believed he would have to.
They will rely on a top ten recruiting class that includes Jordan Elliott and Chris Daniels.
