Dalvin Cook is one of the best running backs in the nation, but the Ole Miss Rebels have been able to contain him early on in Monday night’s game. But while Cook has been kept mostly under wraps, he had an opportunity to make a huge play for his team.
Cook was wide open when he caught the ball and turned for the endzone with a clear path to six points.
Unfortunately, Cook made a very uncharacteristic mistake when he flat out dropped the ball on his way to pay dirt. The fumble cost Florida State a touchdown and they were ultimately forced to settle for a field goal.

You know Dalvin Cook would love to have that one back.
Cook currently has just 16 yards on the ground as the first half winds down, averaging a measly 1.6 yards per carry. The Seminoles trail Ole Miss, 21-6, so they would love to have their workhorse find his rhythm sooner rather than later.
