UFC 203 is in the books after Stipe Miocic knocked out Alistair Overeem in the main event to retain the UFC heavyweight championship in front of his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
Miocic and Overeem received a $50,000 bonus for Fight of the Night, and they also have earned the top payouts from the UFC Athlete Outfitting program that stems from the promotion’s deal with Reebok.
Miocic earned $40,000 from Reebok, while Overeem earned $30,000.
That was nearly one-third of the total $215,000 that was paid out on the night.
The next highest pay went to Urijah Faber with $20,000, while CB Dolloway, who had his fight canceled at the last minute, was the only other fighter to earn more than $10,000 with a $15,000 payout.
