Baylor WR KD Cannon suffers muscle strain in win

The Baylor Bears remain undefeated after a big win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys, but it seems like they could be without a superstar offensive player. Wide receiver KD Cannon left the game with an injury Saturday night.

It was reported that Cannon suffered what was believed to be a muscle strain. He was seen standing up on the bench during the game and it didn’t look like he was feeling the affects of it too much.

Cannon came into the game leading the Big 12 in receptions and was second in receiving yards per game. Luckily for the Bears, Ishmael Zamora returned from suspension and had a big game with 175 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions.

So far this year, Cannon has 370 yards and four touchdowns on 27 receptions.

The Bears hope to have Cannon back on the field on Saturday, Oct. 1 when they travel to play the Iowa State Cyclones.
