Following Week 9 of college football season, the Football Writers Association of America and the National Football Foundation unveiled the updated FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.
As you would expect, the Alabama Crimson Tide remain in the No. 1 spot this week after enjoying the weekend off.
Joining the Super 16 this weekend was the LSU Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners. Oklahoma put a 56-3 shellacking on Kansas to move to No. 12, while LSU appeared at No. 14 as the Tigers gear up for next week’s clash with Alabama.
Boise State and Florida State fell from the rankings.
The SEC led all conferences with five teams, followed by four teams from the Big Ten, three from the Big 12 and two each from the ACC and Pac-12.
