Selection Sunday is almost here so it’s time for a March Madness Bracketology update from ESPN guru Joe Lunardi.
Lunardi is one of the most well-known “bracketologists” for his accurate predictions of the NCAA Tournament field, and ahead of today’s conference championship games he provided the latest look at who is in and who is out.
According to Lunardi, the happy bubble teams will be Syracuse, Wake Forest, Kansas State and USC.
Unfortunately for Rhode Island and Illinois State, they are the first two out.
Fingers crossed that @Redbird_MBB gets a bid into March Madness tomorrow. 🤞🏾Joe Lunardi currently has the birds as a bubble team. 🙏🏾 @espn pic.twitter.com/OiZ1zXS2XO

As for the rest of the bracket, Lunardi currently predicts Villanova, North Carolina, Gonzaga and Kansas as the No. 1 seeds, but that could all change over the next 24 hours — especially if Duke goes on to win the ACC Tournament.
Duke is currently the top No. 2 seed according to Lunardi, while Kentucky, Arizona and Oregon occupy the other top spots.
