The BYU basketball program will be getting back one of the more dynamic offensive weapons earlier than it anticipated; albeit a little worse for the wear.
On Wednesday, Zac Seljaas announced that he would be returning early from a planned missions trip in Iowa due to lingering shoulder problems that will require rehabilitation.
BYU basketball coach Dave Rose said today that Zac Seljaas (mission/shoulder) will play for Cougars in 2017 after intense rehab next 3 mos.

The Cougars will certainly be happy to have him back.
The 6-foot-7 guard from Bountiful, Utah shot a staggering 50 percent from behind the arc in his lone season with Brigham Young. The plan is to have him re-enroll at BYU and begin an intensive three-month rehabilitation program that will have him ready to play at full speed by the preseason.
Fortunately, he will not need surgery to repair the injury.
Seljaas is expected to have a bigger role in BYU’s success (or failure) next season. The Cougars are looking to end a two-year dry spell of failing to qualify for the NCAA tournament.
