Tragedy struck the mixed martial arts world this weekend when amateur MMA fighter Donshay White passed away following his fight against Ricky Muse at Hardrock MMA 90 in Louisville, Kentucky.
White suffered a TKO loss in the second round of the fight, before heading backstage where the worst occurred. According to FloCombat, White stopped breathing and lost vital signs after going in and out of consciousness.
White, 37, was then transported to KentuckyOne Health Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital where he passed away.
After White was taken to the hospital and because of a lack of medical personal remaining at the event, the Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Commission canceled the event.
