Albert Haynesworth: Jimmy Haslam Will 'Make Tennessee Football Great Again'

The Tennessee Volunteers can’t get much worse.
The Vols have historically been college football royalty, but things have taken an ugly turn since the team started 3-3. Rumors continue to swirl that coach Butch Jones will be fired any day now, despite the fact that he’s coming of consecutive nine win seasons and bowl victories.
It appears the Volunteers are turning their hopes to a different savior.
Former Tennessee Volunteers standout Albert Haynesworth has been very vocal of his support of super-booster Jimmy Haslam. He took to Twitter to give Haslam two thumbs way, way up.

But he didn’t stop there.
In an effort to make an even more lasting message, Haynesworth changed his Twitter bio to echo his support.

Haslam is a Tennessee alumnus and is currently the owner of the Cleveland Browns. While it isn’t totally clear what Haynesworth is referring to with his tweets, it’s not totally reckless to assume that it has something to do with an impending coaching change.
Fair or not, things have soured for Butch Jones in Tennessee, and he might not make it through the season with his current job. What does Haynesworth know that the rest of us don’t? Time will tell.
