Will the FBS playoff cause more agony?
As a longtime playoff advocate, I believe that although the playoffs will help college football, it will also cause some strife among fan bases. I am from Atlanta, where heartbreak in the sports world goes down easier than a cold beverage in July, but for that dreaded fifth team left out of the playoff, that’s a really unfortunate way to miss out on postseason play. Normally the first place team is clearer cut, but teams three through five can be interchangeable at times and could cause serious turmoil in a fan base, especially in the SEC.

How will Auburn react to Marshal’s bad behavior?
The talk of the summer has been how deadly Auburn’s offense is going to be. After the first team offense scored 58 points in the spring game, the talk may be true. There are also a few potential threats to Auburn though after Nick Marshall was cited for marijuana possession. Nick Marshall obviously doesn’t have a clean record after allegedly stealing from teammates form UGA and being dismissed. Guz Malzahn has a zero tolerance policy for marijuana (see Ricky Parks). Let’s see how this one plays out heading into a matchup against a reeling Arkansas team looking for a keystone win to revert their course.
My prediction: Get your brooms ready.
How will the SEC respond to FSU’s title claim?
The reign of SEC dominance ended last season, but with the playoff system now implemented, the SEC has a chance to restart its national championship dominance. Auburn, a viable choice for the SEC, could see them back in the title game once more. Alabama, Missouri, South Carolina, and Georgia all have rosters that could support a national contending team.
My prediction: The SEC is well-represented in the final four, wins national title and reinforces presence at the top once more.
